Lynx Anatomy
The body of the Lynx is very interesting. The fact that they have such short tails gets attention. This is due to the fact that other similarly designed animals have a tail that is very long.
Lynx Habitat and Distribution
The different species of the Lynx out there are often defined by where they are distributed. The Canadian Lynx for example is mainly found in Canada.
Lynx Feeding
During the day the Lynx is resting and trying to stay well hidden from predators. When the sun goes down though that is when they get moving and into action.
Lynx Reproduction
The male Lynx are ready for mating when they are about 2 ? to 3 years of age. The females are younger with the range being from 1 ? to 2 years of age.
Lynx Conservation
The Lynx is classified as an endangered species and that has resulted in a great deal of conservation efforts for them. There are many people that want to see them increase in numbers.
